Army opens route for Direct Entrants

The Army has now joined the Royal Navy and Royal Air Force, to allow Direct Entrants to the DTUS.

As of September 2009, the Army will be accepting Direct Entrants to the DTUS. Previously all Army sponsored bursars had been students at the Defence Sixth Form College, Welbeck. Now it is possible for undergraduates already studying on approved courses at the partner universities, or students about to commence approved courses, to join the DTUS. The first Army Direct Entrants join Taurus Squadron in September 2009.
